Some new pics of Roger the Cat
Some new pictures of Roger the Cat.
Bully's dad has been dropping by. The other cats are still not comfortable with him but he's trying... been too long since we've seen mini-bully. We miss him!
With over 50 days of weather over 30 degrees that cats have been crashing out quite a bit...and we envy them!
Pink and Roger on the balcony. Relaxing in the heat of summer.
Snow in Tokyo - on April 17th. Can you believe it. Roger the cat was not impressed.
A cat that used to live by the river near the station about 15 minutes from our place. He eventually went to live with a vet. Lucky cat.
Roger the cat. A well fed and lovingly spoiled specimen of the Felis catus family.
Mini-Bully. The youngest cat that comes around but he's tough. He's gonna be a big one in a year or so. Big paws and almost no neck, just muscle. His father, of course, is the bully of the neighborhood.
Beep. He got his name from the bizarre "meow" he makes. He actually sounds more like a monkey than a cat! He's a strange one. Even approaching 3 years he behaves like a kitten in many ways and doesn't seem to fit in well socially with cats or people. He doesn't come around much any more. We figure that he must have found some food somewhere else. He's a good looking cat so he's probably more than capable of finding a handout.
Pink Nose Floyd or "Pink" for short. Our oldest guy. Quiet and patient, he's a good cat. Likes to eat his fill though, sheesh. Pink is a good cat to have around. He's tough and keeps undesirables from straying into the neighborhood.
The guys doing what cats do best. From top to bottom: Roger, Beep and bully. It's rare to find them all together like this especially these days as they are getting older and their territories are expanding.
This cat is Roger's brother (you can really see the family resemblance).
He doesn't come around much but he looks good and is well fed. He's fairly friendly to us when he shows up so he remembers this place as being his former territory. He's got a slight grudge against Roger for taking over his territory.
David. Um, actually she's female but we didn't know that when we named her. She disappeared from our balcony some time ago. She got a home with a neighbor who eventually moved away.
